At the 2nd EuroTau meeting in Lille, France, Kevin won the poster prize for his poster on the development of a human three-dimensional screening platform of tau pathology.

The EuroTau meeting provides a forum for experts in the field and covers the broad spectrum of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying tau pathology. The jury judged 71 posters on their scientific quality and originality, and Kevin was awarded the prize for his poster ‘Towards a human 3D screening platform of tau pathology’.
As a member of the Molecular Neurodegeneration Group, Kevin develops a new system to study the pathological effects of tau accumulation in human neurons and astrocytes. For this, he utilizes stem cell-technology, three-dimensional culturing and advanced microscopy techniques.
