Priyanka Rao-Ruiz

Dr. Rao-Ruiz studied Molecular Biology at the University of Skövde (Sweden) and obtained her PhD in 2014 from the department of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology, VU University Amsterdam.
After completing a post-doc in the lab of prof. dr. Steven Kushner at the Erasmus M.C, Rotterdam she returned to to the VU and currently leads the Molecular Engrams research team at the Center for Neurogenomics and Cognitive Research.
Dr. Rao-Ruiz participates in the BRAINSCAPES consortia and has received the VENI grant from the Netherlands Organization of Scientific Research (NWO).
Her research focuses on identifying the bio-molecular landscape of memory formation, integration and stability.
