Research

I research brain organization, in both healthy and pathologic aging, using varied neuroimaging data. I am very interested in brain systems. I also got a special interest in aging during my PhD and since my practical training in the neuropsychological assessment of patients with neurodegenerative conditions, during my B.Sc.. Working at Martijn van den Heuvel’s lab and at the Complex Traits Genetics department of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I am now exploring new avenues in the fields of genetics, cross-species, and cross-disorders research.
