In his thesis, Mohit studied mouse models of the white matter disorder ‘megalencephalic leukoencephalopathy with subcortical cysts’ (MLC). He identified several key mechanisms that lead to pathologies in mice and which can explain important aspects of human MLC pathology. The project was a collaboration between the labs of Marjo van der Knaap (VUmc), Rogier Min (VUmc/VU) and Huib Mansvelder (VU).
