The CNCR functions as the ‘department of Neurosciences’ in the Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences as well as an ‘expertise center’ within Amsterdam Neuroscience.

It is, and has been, the coordinating office of several consortia:
EU Neurocypres
EU Synsys
Neurobasic (a FES consortium)
BrainTrain (Marie Curie ITN).
CognitionNet (Marie Curie ITN)

The CNCR is also home to the office of the managementteam of Amsterdam Neuroscience, as such hosting a number of NCA groups including the Department of Child Neurology (Prof. Marjo van der Knaap, see interview here).

The CNCR acted as the coordinating office of the European Neuroscience Campus Network).

Our center is keen on valorization-initiatives and strong on knowledge innovation, through the Industry Alliance Office.
