Department of Functional Genomics (FGA)
The department studies the presynaptic nerve terminal in health and disease. It also contributes to the understanding of complex traits in rodents and humans.
Department of Complex Trait Genetics (CTG)
Research in CTGlab explores the genetic and environmental causes of individual differences in behavior, cognition and mental and physical health. We integrate knowledge from different fields (biology, genetics, neuroimaging, bioinformatics) and use and develop statistical tools to analyze and understand genomic data for complex traits.
Department of Integrative Neurophysiology (INF)
The department of Integrative Neurophysiology studies mechanisms of plasticity and dynamics of neuronal networks underlying sensory information processing and cognition.
Department of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology (MCN)
MCN studies mechanisms of synaptic function and plasticity across many levels of organization, from molecules up to behavior in animal models of human brain disease.
